Sunday.
[pause for effect]
I was inspired to start a blog by a friend of mine, encouraged by my husband, and I am continually inspired to be a writer by another one of my friends. I never thought much about myself being a writer. I perceive myself as being a decent communicator. I loved my speech communications class in college. I've thought a lot about my dream job and what THAT might be. I think public speaking would have to be pretty close to IT [my dream job]. But then again, I am only twenty-four years old, still trying to figure out what I was destined to BE, to DO. Teach kindergarten. Manage a campground. EXIST.
I have had quite the journey the past few years... arguably starting with me deciding to attend North Greenville University in Tigerville, South Carolina. It's a small, Christian University in a one stop light town, in the middle of God's beautiful country. The school sits on top of a hill shining it's "light" for all to see. Looking back now it was the perfect place for me. I can't imagine having gone to Kutztown University where I would have seen dozens of people I grew up with and met from HOME (Pennsylvania), or Shippensburg University... where I would have seen only a handful of people I had known prior to attending their university. BUT GOD... had another plan and I'm so thankful for those people He placed in my life to point to and encourage me to look into NGU. I ONLY spent three years there, but they are three years I already cherish. Great friendships. Great Caring Teachers. Faith testing and growing opportunities. Lots of traveling. Tons of fun. Some tears. Knowledge Overload. Hard work.
On a cute and less serious note, these two little puppies were so adorable. Kent and I found them in VA Beach at the Green Brier Mall. [Yes, Yes I know]. I've been told not to buy pets from pet stores; however, pet stores are a great place to see different breeds in person, no strings attached. Estan mucho dinero, but they sure did love on me and vice versa. We really would like to have a dog sometime soon. Landlord has pretty much killed the chances of that happening. SAD DAY. One day [soon], hopefully it will happen.

Until that day, Kent and I will visit pet stores all over and enjoy the idea of having our own fur baby. I think I would have called the one on the LEFT with the rag toy... He would be "Moosetracks" or something. As for that gorgeous, sweet thang on the RIGHT, Her name... "Petunia" or something old fashion and pretty sounding. NOW---to get busy here in the Outer Banks... where the air is cool and crisp, and life is slow and desolate.
[I know I probably have a million grammar errors and sentence structure mistakes, but that's the great thing about blogs... here I'm just typing what flows from my brain and sometimes, it's not exactly filtered and proper :)].
Sunday.
